Lake Nona’s latest construction project is set to be the centerpiece of a new cluster of sports and innovation in the 7,000-acre master-planned community of Lake Nona.

Tavistock Group, the U.S. Tennis Association, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs headlined a ceremonial groundbreaking event to signify the start of construction on the new $60 million, 63-acre USTA National Campus in Lake Nona.

The April 8 event, held on the site of the new project along Lake Nona Boulevard near Medical City, also served as the site for Tavistock Development Co. LLC to introduce its newest hub, this time focused on sports and innovation and anchored by the USTA complex.
